The former Prince of Wales is now King and this may be the beginning of the end of the United Kingdom as we know it.

Well, the times are new and now we enter the 'King Charles' era. I am worried, however, very worried that the dog days have just begun and the rain may be beating on the United Kingdom harder than before. The former Prince of Wales is now King and this may be the beginning of the end of the United Kingdom as we know it. Oh Charles,... What's the Point of Being Crowned King in Your Seventies?

Dear Charles, you are an old old man; what business do you have becoming King in your seventies? Wouldn't it just have been easier to leave the crowning to William, your mini-you a mini-soldier who's eating from your grotesque hand? Why bother to take on the rodeo at your age when you and your 'queen' could be enjoying whatever days are ahead on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean?

The Uncomfortable Queen

Watching King Charles's coronation (that doesn't sound right), I was appalled and somewhat elated to see how the 'crown' was uncomfortable for Queen Consort Camilla Parker-Bowles. It was such a joy and a 'you deserve what you get' moment seeing her nearly shudder as she was being crowned the 'queen'. Immediately my mind jumped to the Princess Diana interview where she was asked whether she thinks she'll be queen one day.

Princess Diana: The Forever Queen of Our Hearts

Princess Diana replied that she would rather be a "queen of people's hearts" and true to her word, she is the queen of our hearts. Diana didn't need a grotesque and overtly traditional ceremony to make her queen. She was already a QUEEN in our HEARTS. She had the really meaningful crown already, even if she died for her involvement with the Royals.

A Not-so-Royal Family

The British Royal Family is slowly becoming a relic in the modern world. This is becoming so mostly due to how 'unRoyal' the household has become following the last decade of drama and scandal. First, think of their ill-treatment of Meghan Markle and their own son and grandson Prince Harry.
