How the UCL Draw Went: UCL 23-24 Group Stage Draw
The UCL Draw happened yesterday and here's how it went down.

We are in for another serving of the UCL and this time, the draw was something of a marvel in itself with the group stages being drafted for what will be epic clashes. The UCL draw, which entails the 32 teams being seeded into four pots and then picked randomly into eight groups, put together epic groups with some of the most formidable teams set to clash.
How the UCL Draw Happens
Essentially, teams are first seeded or categorized into four pots (or sections). These four pots are guided by the trophies and seedings the team won the previous season. Pot One goes to the UCL title holders, the Europa League winners, and the champions of the top 6 national leagues as per the UEFA country coefficients.
The remaining clubs are then seeded into the other three pots as per the UEFA Club coefficients. After all the teams are each put in their respective pots, they then go on to be randomly picked into eight groups.
The criteria, however, is that in each group, there will be one team from each of the four pots but no two teams from the same country. This way, each UCL Group, i.e., Groups A-H, will have a team from each pot but not two teams from the same country.
